Jeremy directs many choral workshops, and can frequently be found spending weekends at Farncombe Estate in the Cotswolds and at Benslow in Hitchin – click here for details of forthcoming courses. He often runs a summer school in Assisi and has directed many courses at Canford Summer School and Lacock Winter School. In fact his appearances at such events are usually spread right across the year, and have taken him throughout Europe and beyond, to the USA and Taiwan. His attitude to these events is simple: "It doesn't matter what level people start from", he says. "I am full of admiration for anyone who sings. A workshop is the ideal opportunity to examine how we sing. The greater confidence this produces means we can have fun at the time, and our music-making thereafter is a more enjoyable experience." He has worked with small groups, individual choirs and larger events and looks forward to more of the same.
Children as well as adults benefit from his infectious enthusiasm and lively approach to music-making and he is acutely aware that tomorrow's singers must be nurtured in today's schools.
