Choral Evensong Weekend Course at Farncombe Estate Centre, Broadway
Farncombe Estate Centre, just outside the lovely village of Broadway in the Cotswolds, provides an idyllic location for Jeremy’s course, rehearsing all the music for a full Choral Evensong.  On Sunday we transfer to the beautiful church at Chipping Campden with its lovely acoustics, to sing the service, with full, wide-ranging repertoire, real psalms and real hymns.

Run by Singers Summer School in Assisi
This year, the popular Run by Singers Assisi Summer School directed by Jeremy Jackman moves to a new date in the early summer. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the plains of Umbria , Assisi , the city of Giotto and St Francis, is a place of picturesque alleyways, steps, churches, bells and pilgrims. Now in its sixth year, the course runs from Sunday evening, when we meet for some introductions and an informal supper, to the following Friday evening where we perform our new repertoire at a concert in one of Assisi ’s magnificent cathedrals.
This year’s programme has at its heart Palestrina’s Missa Tertia, and we will also be studying some beautiful Mendelssohn part-songs and exploring English motets from the 16th to the 21st centuries.
